During the autumn semester of the 2015/16 academic year, we carried a teaching space utilisation survey and consultancy report for Leeds Beckett University, over two weeks. This survey included the recording of the number of occupants in each of the 205 teaching rooms as well as confirming the timetable activity once per hour, Monday – Friday 09-17:00 across two sites. Education Space Consultancy managed all aspects of the survey, including the employment and management of all survey staff.
In addition, we also provided the University with a detailed consultancy report that analysed both the University’s survey and timetable data in order to provide useful and actionable conclusions and recommendations. As with all consultancy reports we provide, this report was individually created thereby ensuring the data analysis, conclusions and recommendations provided include client specific information that the University can use to improve its space management and timetabling outcomes.
