T Levels: Space Needs Assessment Gateway – Introduction

July 24, 2019 By Ben Moreland, Director, Education Space Consultancy

This is the first of three videos, exploring the Space Needs Assessment Gateway; a T Level Capital Funding Application requirement for all those UK Colleges that are  looking to apply for capital funding and then use this funding to increase the NIA of their estate. This video is aimed at anyone interested in applying to the T Levels Capital Fund or anyone seeking information about the T Levels in general.

During this short video presentation we will take you through the Space Needs Assessment Gateway requirements and the two methodologies that the DoE has specified as being a requirement for those FE providers looking to apply for funding.

Please, feel free to leave a comment or get in touch with us directly, should you have any question or concern regarding the application process.

We have also published 2 further video tutorials that explore the T Level Space Needs Assessment Gateway further, each exploring one of the two methodologies specified as being required by the Department of Education

  • T Levels: Space Needs Assessment Gateway – Observed Workplace Utilisation Method

Denisa Bernardova, one of our experienced Timetabling & Space Management Consultants, has also published a video episode that introduces T Levels, as well also the T Level Capital Funding Application and its two parts; the Specialist Equipment Allocation (SEA) and the Building and Facilities Improvement Grant (BFIG)
